My name is Michelangelo Nigro. I was born in Florence, Italy and I have always been fascinated by video games. I started playing when I was two years old, with my father’s PlayStation 2, and I haven’t stopped since. Currently, I am working for Doghead Animation, an animation company that has made the series “Strappare Lungo i Bordi” and “Questo Mondo non mi Renderà Cattivo,” among many others.
During my years in both University and “The Sign Accademy” I was able to learn various languages, and engines, mostly unity and unreal.
I’ve obtained my degree with a grade of 70/100
I’ve attended courses for both the “Informatica” and “Ingegneria Informatica” degrees.
I’m currently attending the course “Game Programming”

During the Gamescom event in 2022, I helped set up the booth and the television used for the presentation of the Samsung Gaming Center.

I started working for Doghead Animation SRL as an Assistant to the Technical Director.
I taught English and organized activities at summer camps, honing my skills while being a positive team member.
I participated in the production of the Netflix original series ‘Questo mondo non mi renderà cattivo’ and the Amazon Prime film ‘Merry Little Batman’
During my projects, I have been able to gather skills in all sorts of game development software.
I have been drawing since middle school and I have improved my skills through various projects, including game pixel art and client illustrations. I always aim to exceed expectations and take pride in delivering my best work.
I have worked on texturing some models in my latest project called ‘Nadia.’ I am proficient in using Maya, Blender, and Substance Painter.
“I completed a Toon Boom course on Technical Direction, where I specialized in Harmony software. I’ve developed various add-ons and scripts for Harmony using QT and Javascript.
Here, you can find most of the projects I have worked on. They are divided into two categories: “Cumulative,” which is the name my school uses for projects comprising 2D and 3D artists, designers, and programmers; and “Game Jams,” which are projects usually made in relatively short periods of time.
